Timothy (37) was born in New York and grew up in Genoa, Italy, where he got his Bachelor Degree with honors in Business. He spent six years working as a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers first in London and then in Madrid, in the Valuation & Strategy department, focusing on M&A transactions. He then got his MBA from INSEAD and later on joined the A.P. Moller Maersk Group in The Netherlands as a General Manager for the New Terminals Division. In 2011 Timothy joined his family business, Fratelli Cosulich, where he sits on the Group Board of Directors and is in charge of the Marine Fuel Business unit globally, representing 60% of the Group’s turnover.
Fratelli Cosulich is a diversified Group founded in 1857, fully owned by the Cosulich family, now at its sixth generation. The Group is active in a number of aspects of the Shipping Industry, from ship-owning, to ship-agency, freight-forwarding, catering, manning, yacht-services, and marine fuel trading and supplying. Fratelli Cosulich has offices in 15 countries, approx. 1000 employees worldwide and a yearly turnover of USD 1.6bn.
Timothy lives in Singapore, is married to Alexandra and has one 9 months son, Tiago. Tim is a passionate triathlete and recently represented Italy at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. He is currently ranked 13th worldwide in his category for Ironman competitions.
Timothy is also member of YPO Young Presidents’ Organization, the premier leadership organization of chief executives in the world: he sits on the Management Team of YPO Singapore, as well as on the Board of the YPO Global Family Business Network and YPO Tri Sports Network.
